Take part in our 5 Weeks online accelerator to ignite your sustainable business Idea!
GoodStartup School has created a bespoke programme to support female-led impact startups at an early stage. Within the 5 weeks, participants will go from idea to prototype and end with a ready-made pitch and a Minimum Viable Product based on validated customers needs.
Curriculum
We will work on a specific topic each week:
Introduction: Friday, 30th March 2023 from 13:00 – 14:00 CET
Week 1: Problem-Solution-Fit Friday, 31th March from 13:00 – 16:00 CET
- Understanding the problem landscape and identifying gaps
- Identifying customer segments
- Identifying and evaluating potential solutions
- Defining the value proposition and unique selling points of the solution
- Introduction to the Lean Canvas and how it can be used to validate ideas and develop a business model
- Hands-on workshop on creating a Lean Canvas for the participants’ own startups

Week 2: Validate Product-Market-Fit Friday, 7th April from 13:00 – 16:00 CET
- Refining customer segments to validate
- Conducting research with potential customers
- Conducting competitive analysis
- Identifying key metrics to measure success
- Refining the product to fit market needs

Week 3: Impact Impact Business Modelling Friday, 14th April from 13:00 – 16:00 CET
- Understanding impact measurement and reporting
- Identifying the best business models for impact startups
- Identifying funding sources and opportunities
- Creating a sustainable and scalable business model
- Introduction to business modelling for sustainability and how it can be used to create long-term impact
- Hands-on workshop on creating a sustainability-focused business model for the participants’ own startups

Week 4: Build Create your MVP or prototype Friday, 21th April from 13:00 – 16:00 CET
- Developing an MVP to test assumptions
- Creating user stories and feature prioritization
- Conducting user testing and feedback sessions

Week 5: Shine How to make a killer Pitch Friday, 28th April from 13:00 – 16:00 CET
- Crafting a compelling pitch deck and story

Workplan & Handouts
Workplan:
Each week, there will be a 3-hour workshop session that will consist of a presentation on the topic, followed by interactive activities and group discussions. The Lean Canvas workshop will be a longer, half-day session to allow for more in-depth exploration of the topic. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive feedback on their progress and receive mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts.
Handouts:
Participants will receive a set of handouts each week, including templates, checklists, and guides that they can use to apply the concepts learned in the workshop to their own startup. They will also receive a comprehensive digital workbook that will allow them to track their progress and set goals for the program.
Overall, this accelerator program is designed to provide impact startup founders with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully launch and grow their ventures. Through a combination of interactive workshops, mentorship, and hands-on activities, participants will gain a deep understanding of the startup process and develop the skills necessary to create sustainable, impactful businesses.
